Scene Boston 2011 Spring Publishers Letter

Spring 2011 Publishers Letter

We made it. After what seemed like an eternity of snow, slush, wind and ice, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We began this issue going back to one of your favorite neighborhoods – the North End – where we reviewed two amazing restaurants, the newly expanded Bricco Ristorante, a long-standing staple in Boston’s dining scene, and the city’s newest Italian addition, Pasta Beach. Since we were already feeling Italian cuisine in this issue, we thought we’d give you the scoop on where to get the best pizza in the area, from the North End to the South End and Cambridge to Somerville – this city is packed with drool-worthy slices in every way, shape and form.

We have always incorporated elements of beauty in the magazine, but none quite like what we did in this issue with Haute Cuisine, where everyone involved from the chefs, to the makeup artists, to myself added their own aspect of what they view as beautiful. I am so excited to share with you our unique take on beauty and hope you will appreciate it as much as I do. And speaking of beauty, check out our spring fashion feature and get in on one of the hottest trends of the season, white!

I want to thank all of our loyal readers for their support and positive feedback towards everything we do. I love hearing your comments, questions and suggestions, feel free to drop me a line at bobby@sceneboston.com or on our facebook page, www.facebook.com/sceneboston.

— Peace!
